China: Shagang Steel cuts scrap buy prices by $4/t
China’s Shagang Steel has announced a price decrease of RMB 30/t ($4/t) for purchase of all grades of scrap towards last weekend after the country’s 10-day national holidays. Post revision, HMS (6-10 mm) prices are at RMB 3,090/t ($433/t) delivered to headquarters, including 13% VAT. The company effected its last revision on 22 Sep.
