    China: Third round of hike likely in coke prices

    After the two rounds of rise in China’s domestic coke prices, the third round of price hike is expected to be announced soon. The reason being increased demand from the domestic steel industry and reduced margins of coke producers. Current prices of quasi-grade met coke in Tangshan region are assessed at RMB 3,320/t ex-works basis.
