China: Spot iron ore prices rebound as rebar data improves

The spot prices of iron ore in China rebounded on improved rebar trading volumes. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices moved up by $1.95/t to $96.15/t CFR China. However, seaborne liquidity remained thin as import margins shrank, causing seaborne trading activity to decline. As the iron ore demand outlook remained uncertain, market participants were more cautious.
