    China: ROM iron ore output falls 9% m-o-m in Apr’22

    China recorded run of mine (ROM) iron ore production at 85.79 mnt in Apr’22, down 9% against 94.76 mnt in Mar’22, National Bureau of Statistics data shows. On a yearly basis, output inched down by 1% compared to Apr’21. During Jan-Apr’22, China’s cumulative production of raw iron ore stood at 330.79 mnt, down 1% y-o-y.
