    China: Steel billets prices fall RMB 20/t ($3/t) d-o-d

    China’s domestic billets prices in Tangshan fell d-o-d by RMB 20/t ($3/t). Prices stood at RMB 3,710/t ($532/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 20 Dec’22. According to a data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for May’23 delivery closed today at RMB 3,939/t ($565/t), a marginal increase of RMB 12/t ($2/t) d-o-d.
