CISA: China’s weighted average purchase cost rises by 38% in Jan-Oct’22

China’s coking coal and coke weighted average purchase cost rose by 38.08% and 7.54% y-o-y respectively, as per data by China Iron and Steel Association (CISA). In October, coking coal weighted average cost rose 3.28% m-o-m. China imported 51.65 mnt of coking coal in Jan-Oct’22, up by 31% than the same period of last year.
