In Mar’24, industrial raw coal output in China totalled 400 mnt, down 4.2% y-o-y, with daily average production of 12.88 mnt. Imported coal volumes reached 41.38 mnt, up 0.5% y-o-y. From Jan-Mar’24, production of industrial raw coal reached 1.11 bnt, marking a 4.1% y-o-y decline, as per National Bureau of Statistics data.
