Colombia’s largest coal miner, Cerrejon, has suspended production at its mine in La Guajira province following 13 illegal roadblocks. The incident has come after a week-long roadblock in Sep’22 had led to 70% reduction in its production. Over the last two years, several protests by union workers have affected Cerrejon’s overall production and export volumes.
