Vietnam’s bulk coal and coke imports (coking, non-coking, and met coke) reached 2.73 mnt in Aug’25, marking a 19.9% drop from 3.4 mnt in Jul’25 and a 42.7% decline from 4.8 mnt in Aug’24. Indonesia became the leading supplier, exporting 1.44 mnt, up 32.3% m-o-m, followed by Australia at 1.13 mnt, down 27.2% m-o-m.
