India: SAIL books 6,500 t of commercial rails at BSP auction

SAIL conducted an auction for 6,500 t (60 kg) of full-length commercial rails from the Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) yesterday. Buyers purchased the entire quantity at INR 53,500/t ex-works, sources informed. Bid prices rose by INR 9,600/t compared with the previous auction on 16 Feb.
