India: 15,000 t of iron ore tailings sold at BRPL’s Odisha auction

Brahmani River Pellets Ltd (BRPL) had scheduled an auction for the sale of 300,000 t of iron ore tailings (Fe53-55%) from Odisha’s Bhubaneswar on 2 Dec’22. According to sources, only 15,000 t were sold at the base price of INR 400/WMT, ex-mines/loaded onto truck. Prices are inclusive of royalty, DMF and NMET.
