    Brazil: Iron ore exports rise 17% y-o-y in Aug’25

    Brazil’s iron ore exports increased by 17.4% y-o-y to 40.2 mnt in Aug’25, compared to 34.2 mnt in Aug’24, as per customs data. Moreover, the shipments fell by 2.2% m-o-m to against 41.1 mnt in Jul’25. Average export prices fell to $64.5/t FOB in Aug’25, down from $72/t in Aug’24, despite increment in shipments.
