Brazil: Iron ore exports fall by 26% m-o-m in Oct’22

Brazil’s iron ore exports fell by 26% m-o-m in Oct’22 to 26.79 mnt compared to 36.29 mnt in Sep’22, as per customs data. On a y-o-y basis, exports decreased by 13% as against 30.77 mnt in Oct’21. The average price of iron ore exported from Brazil stood at $68.9/t on FOB basis in Oct’22.
