India: Sponge iron offers rise slightly in Bellary, Karnataka

Iron ore lump-based sponge iron (CDRI) prices in Karnataka’s Bellary rose INR 200/t today and 2,000 t of deals were reported at around INR 32,400-32,600/t exw. 3,200 t of pellet-based sponge PDRI deals were confirmed at INR 32,000/t exw. Low buying activity was observed today as buyers are expecting further correction in spot prices.
