India: Sponge iron trading muted in Bellary amid festive holidays

Pellet-based DRI (PDRI, FeM 80%) deals of 200 t were confirmed at INR 32,300/t exw on 26 Oct’22. Iron ore lumps-based DRI (CDRI) offers inched up by INR 100/t and around 350 t of deals were concluded at INR 33,700-34,000/t exw. The major markets remained closed and trading remained muted amid Diwali holidays.
