Base metals opened on a positive note in morning trade today, with aluminium rising 2%. But nickel cash prices declined by over 1% as against the last closing. Stocks in LME-registered warehouses declined sharply, with copper contracting 5,725 t d-o-d. Leading domestic player Hindalco’s profits rose two-fold, y-o-y, in Q4FY’22, SteelMint learnt.
