Bangladesh’s non-coking coal imports stood at 1.82 mnt in Sep’25, registering a significant 37.5% growth from 1.32 mnt in Aug. On a y-o-y basis, imports increased by 149% from 0.73 mnt in Sep. Indonesia remained the dominant supplier in Sep, exporting 1.58 mnt, up 30.5% m-o-m, followed by South Africa which supplied 0.24 mnt.
