India: Balco, Hindalco hike ingot prices by INR 2,000/t ($24/t)

India’s primary aluminium producers have increased ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 2,000/t ($24/t) today. Balco’s prices were at INR 244,250/t ($2,923/t) and Hindalco’s prices were at INR 243,000/t ($2,908/t). All prices were ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on LME stood at $2,461/t.
