Australian coking coal prices rise by $15/t d-o-d
Australian premium hard coking coal prices increased by $15/t d-o-d to $362/t FOB on 1 March because of strong buying interest from Asia and Europe. Meanwhile, steelmaker ArcelorMittal’s trading arm, ArcelorMittal Sourcing’s tender for 42,000 t of Australian Premium mid-vol, with a 24 March – 2 April loading was awarded at $362/mnt FOB Australia.
