BHP’s coking coal production increases by 20%, q-o-q, in Jan-Mar’22

Diversified miner BHP’s coking coal production was recorded at 10.6 mnt in Jan-Mar’22, up 20% q-o-q and an increase of 10% y-o-y compared with Jan-Mar’21. Lower rainfall and improved logistics contributed to higher metallurgical coal production. The miner has kept its annual met coal production guidance for the ongoing fiscal at 68-72 mnt.
