Indian mill concludes 30,000 t HRC export deal to Nepal
An Indian steel major booked 30,000 t of HRC for exports to Nepal towards the end of last week. The deal was closed at $750-755/t CFR Raxual border, equivalent to $730-735/t ex-plant, for mid-Feb’22 delivery. Nepal’s HRC/plate import volumes stood at 367,939 t in CY’21. Dec imports were at 35,823 t, booked majorly from India.
