Australian 5500 NAR coal prices rise on increased buying from China

Australian thermal coal (5500 NAR) prices have moved up today by $1-1.5/t to $39.5-40/t FoB Newcastle for November shipment. The Chinese buyers have started booking coal for Nov-end and December loading as their import quotas are set to get renewed in January 2021.
