Tag: 100 t of ferro silicon at reverse auction

Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL) conducted a reverse auction for 4,100 t of ferro silicon (Si:70% min, 40-100 mm) on 27 Mar’24 for its Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. The entire material was booked at around INR 123,750/t FOR (including GST and GEM portal charges). Excluding taxes, prices were assessed at INR 104,300/t FOR, as per sources.
