A central India-based mill is reported to have concluded a 20,000 t wire rod (IF route, SAE 1008) export deal for end-Jul ’21 shipment. The deal has been concluded at around $750/t, CFR, for Thailand, sources have confirmed. Indian steel mills have resumed exports actively in order to clear inventories amid subdued domestic demand.
