Imported manganese ore prices, particularly Comilog Gabonese ore, rose last week as a result of reduced supply from Australia. An Indian buyer obtained 3,000 t of Comilog Gabonese (Mn 44.5%) for $5.5/dmtu, up from $5.1/dmtu last week. Around 8000 t of South African lumps (Mn 37%) were also booked at INR 3.15-3.5/t dmtu.
