ArcelorMittal is ramping up steel scrap processing in Europe as part of its decarbonization strategy. At its Fos-sur-Mer plant in France, scrap usage is set to rise fivefold, cutting CO₂ emissions by 10% by 2025. The company has also doubled scrap handling capacity at its Dunkirk site and acquired four major European scrap processors to ensure supply.
