Wire rod manufacturers in Raipur kept offers stable at INR 52,800/t exw on 28 Jan’22. However, higher prices impacted buying enquiries and weak sentiments in the semi-finished steel market prompted buyers to delay procurement. This naturally piled pressure on the suppliers and trade discounts inched up to around INR 1,500/t in the spot market.
