India’s sponge iron export offers for Nepal and Bangladesh rose w-o-w, with modest buying activity observed. Deals for around 8,500 t were concluded for Nepal and Bangladesh. Nepal: Offers increased to $348-350/t CPT Raxaul, but minimal buying was observed as offers rose. Bangladesh: Prices increased slightly to $340-346/t CPT Benapole, amid modest bookings.
