Thailand’s steel billet imports fell by 44% m-o-m to 129,978 t in Jan’24 compared to 231,605 t in Dec’23, as per Customs data maintained with BigMint. Oman emerged as the largest exporter with 75,450 t, followed by Japan with 24,584 t. Meanwhile, imports fell by 32% y-o-y compared to 191,071 t in Jan’23.
