China: Steel billet prices fall by RMB 30/t ($4/t) d-o-d
Billet prices in Tangshan fell d-o-d by RMB 30/t ($4/t) to RMB 3,260/t ($448/t) on 10 Jul’24. Prices include 13% VAT. Drop in finished steel prices, rebar futures and low demand have weighed on billet prices. SHFE rebar futures (Oct’24 delivery) decreased d-o-d by RMB 37/t ($5/t) to RMB 3,478/t ($478/t) on 10 Jul’24.
