SAIL-Durgapur Steel Plant held an auction for 2,500 t of steel grade pig iron on 29 July. The entire quantity was booked at an average price of INR 46,228/t exw. In the previous auction conducted on 8 July, around 3,000 t was booked at an average price of INR 46,400/t exw.
