SAIL-Durgapur Steel Plant held an auction for 2,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 12 Aug’22. The entire quantity was booked at an average price of INR 46,710/t exw. In the previous auction conducted on 29 July, around 2,500 t was booked at an average price of INR 46,228/t exw.
