Pakistan: Imported scrap prices fall in recent deals
Pakistan’s imported scrap market saw a few more bookings at reduced prices. Nearly 5,000 t of UK-origin shredded scrap in containers was booked at $560-567/t CFR Port Qasim. Another deal for 500 t was heard booked at $557-560/t CFR Qasim. SteelMint’s assesses shredded scrap import prices at $560-565/t CFR, a decrease of $8/t d-o-d.
