South Korea: POSCO’s Gwangyang works to consume 100,000 t of scrap in June
POSCO has completed the renovation of the 4th blast furnace at Gwangyang after the plant was relit on 10 Jun’22. Going forward, scrap consumption of the Gwangyang works is likely to increase to at least 120,000 t every month, which is around 100,000 t in Jun. However, molten iron production has increased significantly.
