Wire rod prices fall INR 400/t in central India on weak market sentiments
Raipur, Chhattisgarh-based steel wire rod manufacturers saw weak trade enquiries and transactions, which resulted in a drop in prices today by INR 400/t to INR 50,800/t exw. Weak market sentiments in semi-finished steel hampered trading activity and to minimise losses resellers had to offer hefty trade discounts of INR 2,300-2,500/t in the spot market.
