India: Steel tube major cuts ERW pipe prices by INR 1,000/t ($13/t)
India’s largest ERW pipe manufacturer has slashed its prices by INR 1,000/t ($13/t) for early-May dispatches on 2 May 2022 on account of subdued sales, SteelMint reports. The current offers for base grade ERW pipes (25-125 NB, 2.2-6 mm thickness) are assessed at INR 82,000/t (exy-Delhi), INR 82,250/t (exy-Mumbai) and INR 80,000/t (exy-Raipur) excluding GST.
