The Baltic Dry Index fell 1.1% (22 points) d-o-d to 1,995 on 31 Mar’26, pressured by a weaker Capesize segment amid geopolitical tensions and subdued chartering activity. Capesize: BCI declined 1.9% (57 points) to 2,947. Panamax: BPI was up 0.1% (2 points) to 1,744. Supramax: BSI was down 0.1% (1 point) to 1,202.
