Billet prices in Tangshan, China, dropped by RMB 40/t ($6/t) d-o-d to RMB 3,040/t ($419/t) on 7 Mar’25, including 13% VAT. A decline in rebar futures and lower trade volumes amid volatile demand weighed on billet tags. SHFE rebar futures (May’25) edged down by RMB 4/t ($1/t) d-o-d to RMB 3,270/t ($451/t) on 7 Mar’25.
