Sweden: LKAB’s pellet output inches down y-o-y in Q1CY’26
Swedish iron ore miner LKAB’s pellet output stood at 6.5 mnt in Q1CY’26, a slight fall from 6.6 mnt a year earlier, driven by minor disruptions and maintenance shutdowns. Output may decline further due to geotechnical challenges at the Kiruna mine. Meanwhile, iron ore deliveries dipped 3% y-o-y to 6.3 mnt from 6.5 mnt.
