China: Steel billet prices inch up by RMB 10/t ($1/t) d-o-d
Steel billet prices in Tangshan, China, edged up by RMB 10/t ($1/t) d-o-d to RMB 3,030/t ($417/t) on 11 Mar’25, including 13% VAT. Stability in finished steel prices supported billet tags, but weak demand pressured them. SHFE rebar futures (May’25) dipped by RMB 11/t ($2/t) d-o-d to RMB 3,209/t ($442/t) on 11 Mar.
