China’s met coke producers have accepted the third round of price hike on 28 Apr’24. Met coke prices in Hebei’s Tangshan were assessed at RMB 1,960/t ($271/t), an increase of RMB 100/t ($14/t) d-o-d. Despite slight profit recovery and increased operations, rising raw coal prices constrained coke production expansion, maintaining a tight supply.
