India: Sponge iron export offers stable in recent deals
SteelMint’s sponge iron (FeM 80%, lumps 100%) export price assessment remains stable at $480/t CPT Benapole, equivalent to $510/t CFR Chittagong. About 2,000 t of deals were reported this week. Amidst fluctuating domestic prices in India, the export offers held up a semblance of stability, while demand continues to remain subdued, sources informed.
