Indian Sponge iron export offers remain stable
SteelMint’s sponge iron (FeM 80%, lumps 100%) export price assessment to Bangladesh remains stable at $430-435/t CPT Benapole, equivalent to $460-465/t CFR Chittagong, Bangladesh. About 3,000 t of deals were confirmed this week. Demand continued to remain subuded in Indian domestic & exports, this in turn price fluctuations.
