India: Durgapur-based pig iron producer resumes operations, spot supply to ease
Kajaria Iron and Steel Company (KIC)-based in Durgapur has resumed operations after 2-months maintenance. With this, the availability of pig iron will slightly improve in the spot market. The company has a production capacity of about 500 t of pig iron per day. Current offers of pig iron are assessed at around INR 61,500/t exw-Durgapur.
