Indian steel demand to exceed 2019 level in CY ’21: World Steel
Steel demand in India is expected to rebound by 19.8% in the current year, after falling by 13.7% last year, World Steel Association forecasts. The demand is expected to exceed the 2019 level. The growth-oriented government agenda would drive India’s steel demand up, while private investment may take longer to recover, WSA predicted.
