Steel Mint’s domestic steel scrap (end-cutting) index was down by INR 1,000/t to INR 33,800/t DAP Mandi Gobindgarh. A decline in semi-finished steel prices by around INR 800-900/t at a conservative estimate disrupted scrap prices too.
