India: 900 t of pig iron booked at SAIL-DSP’s auction
SAIL-Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP) conducted an auction for 1,500 t of steel grade pig iron on 10 Mar’23, at which 900 t were booked at an average price of INR 41,250/t exw. Interestingly, at the last auction, almost 60% of material was booked at this aforementioned price range, data maintained with SteelMint shows.
