Domestic melting scrap prices remained supported across major markets on 7 May’22, as per SteelMint assessment. The key reason scrap prices remained positive was the slight improvement in semi-finished prices amidst supply shortage of scrap in specific markets. Melting scrap prices are likely to see minor changes in the coming days, trader sources said.
