China: Domestic coke makers propose another price hike
Coking plants in Shandong, Hebei and Shanxi have jointly proposed for the 11th round of coke price hike by RMB 100/t, bringing the total uptick to RMB 500/t since August. De-capacity initiatives and supply curbs on coke output have stepped up amid routine environmental protection inspections in Shanxi province, leading to increased production cuts.
