China: Steel billet prices hold stable d-o-d
Steel billet prices in Tangshan, China, stood firm d-o-d at RMB 2,940/t ($410/t), including 13% VAT, on 3 Jul’25. Billet prices remained firm, backed by stronger finished steel sales and news of production cuts, which would restrict supply. SHFE rebar futures (Oct’25) inched up by RMB 11/t ($2/t) d-o-d to RMB 3,076/t ($429/t) on 3 Jul’25.
